About the event
You’ve heard about it already but you haven’t tried it so come on over and join us to learn all the basics of tufting! We’ll have frames, fabric, yarn and tufting guns for you – all you need to bring is the willingness to learn and to have fun. And maybe an idea for the design you'd like to tuft.
- You will be using a frame that is approximately 30 x 30 inches
- We will focus on getting comfortable with the gun and the movement
- We will use acrylic yarn so the piece you make will be best hung on a wall. If you’d like to use it in low traffic area as a rug that is possible as well. We will have yarn available for you - but if you would like to use something specific, you are welcome to bring size 4 acrylic yarn.
- Instructions on how to finish the back of your piece will be provided at the end of the class and you can finish it on your own time.
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
Everyone who attends the class will receive 20% off their same-day purchases at Monster - excluding gift cards, class tickets and original art.
